Tee Time’s goal is to provide your landscape with a program to maintain your trees and shrubs throughout the entire season. Our program begins in February and lasts through the Fall. This program will consist of seven applications throughout the season, which will help protect your trees and shrubs from insects and diseases and provide them with beneficial fertilizer for maximum growth and overall beauty.

Tee Time Lawn Care’s 7-Step Tree & Shrub Care Program

(Mid/late Feb applications begin)

This application protects against scale as well as specific fungi and suffocates many early hatching insect eggs and larvae. Dormant oil spray should not be applied until the trees have gone completely dormant, but also before new growth occurs. Late winter or early spring applications are ideal when temperatures are above freezing but also below 70 degrees. Applying the dormant oil spray too early may expose your tree to winter damage. Applying too late will damage new growth. At Tee Time, we will spray as soon as the snow melts at the end of February or early March, depending on weather conditions.

(March/April application)

This application is an insecticide and fungicide application to protect trees and shrubs from insects and disease activity.

Another application of high Nitrogen fertilizer with a pre/post-emergent mixed in to provide control of Crabgrass as well as other weeds throughout their entire growing season. Another Blanket spray of Broadleaf Weed Control.

Product Information: A second application of high nitrogen Fertilizer (22-0-4) with pre-emergent Crabgrass control.  This second application helps ensure crabgrass and other weeds will be controlled through the entire growing season.  A Second blanket spray of Trimec/SpeedZone.

(July/August application)

This application is an insecticide and fungicide application to protect trees and shrubs from insects and disease activity.

(September)

This application is an insecticide and fungicide application to protect trees and shrubs from insects and disease activity.

(October) This application is an insecticide and fungicide application to protect trees and shrubs from insects and disease activity.

(November)

Using specialized equipment, we insert a pipe into the ground close to the tree’s base near the root system. This is an injection of fertilizer and nutrients into the soil, so the tree quickly absorbs it.
