3-STEP PRE EMERGENT PROCESS
With our new 3-Step Pre-Emergent Weed Control process, you can rest easy when it comes to those pesky weeds… AT NO EXTRA FEES!
Weeds can be significant pests of home lawns. Due to differences in color, size, shape, and growth habit, weeds lessen your grasses’ natural beauty.
Not to mention weeds compete with your turfgrasses for sunlight, soil moisture, nutrients and space, and can quickly become the dominant species in a lawn.
WHAT IS OUR 3-STEP PRE-EMERGENT PROCESS?
• Step 1 involves the first round of pre-emergent and fertilizer application. This application is applied as soil temperatures are reaching warm conditions, the optimal starting temperature for stopping weed germination.
• The second application of the half rate of pre-emergent and fertilizer will be applied 3-4 weeks after (weather permitting). The pre-emergent is a great barrier for stopping crabgrass, goosegrass, dandelions, white clover, and thistle.
• The third application or pre-emergent and fertilizer will help with further possible weed germination. If any type of weeds have started germination, it will be killed after applying.

WHAT MAKES OUR 3-STEP
PRE-EMERGENT PROCESS DIFFERENT?
The majority of our competitors will only use one large app of pre-emergent. This one application can eliminate weeds but can cause root shrinkage in the lawn’s grass, resulting in stunting the lawn in the summer months. Applying the two split applications of pre-emergent and fertilizer will not cause root shrinkage to established lawns, leading to a healthier lawn year-round.
